Disciples Cross is a work at home opportunity developed by Pastor John Raymond. This business pays you for assembling the Christian cross and selling it back to the company for a profit.
A buddy at the factory asked me about work from home assembly work. I did an internet search, and found Disciples cross.
He was interested in assembly work for his wife and himself while watching tv. He also asked if it would be possible to walk out to his car and assemble parts on his breaks at work!
This is the way Disciples Cross works. You send in for a starter kit which includes an instructional video and enough materials to put together 25 Disciples Crosses. You have to pay for the starter kit. The cost is $69.95.
After I looked into Disciples Cross it appears that the company is genuine but it does have some issues. Complaints have to deal with the buy back program. Basically, people were getting angry because too many of their crosses were failing inspection and they were losing money on the shipping and supply fees. This is a fairly common grievance with all work at home assembly jobs. I read of one man who purchased a finished Disciples Cross from the company, then turned around and sent it back to them. The returned Disciples Cross was rejected and failed inspection!
I looked on eBay, and found a page of Disciples Crosses, with a full range of prices and options. Can you think of a new twist on selling them?
My idea was to avoid the buy back program all together and focus on marketing and selling the crosses on my own. This can be done on a local level by anyone. For example, at your church, community events, local shops, on eBay or through your own website. The Disciples Cross website discusses different marketing ideas for the crosses.
If you are interested in this program, Only consider Disciples Cross if you have a marketing strategy outside of the buyback program.
By not relying on the buyback program, you will increase your chance of success with this business. While there are many testimonials touting Disciples Cross as a scam, there are also many testimonials of people that love it. However, if a company has even one complaint, I avoid it.
Also if a company says you can make thousands of dollars a month, (in home assembly?!!) that’s a red flag for me.
Disciples Cross advertises on their front page $2000.00 a month!
Therefore, I never opted to try Disciples Cross.
P.S... neither did my friend at the factory.
