Craigslist Work

My wife and I spend a hour or two every day working or surfing on the Internet.  She regularly scans Craigslist for bargains.  We've purchased furniture, and also sold many items on craigslist. Setting up a account is very easy too.
I recommend including a picture,  when putting a item for sale.
Planning a garage sale?  Post a free listing.

I kind of have the attitude that any large item I have for sale, I will put on craigslist.  Small items, easy to ship I put on eBay. Craigslist is free to list and sell, while ebay charges a commission.  If I have a item to sell that is priced over 10 dollars, I routinely start with Craigslist regardless of size.

I write part-time, and also scan the writing jobs to see whats available. I have received a couple of part-time free-lance jobs off craigslist.   If you're looking for work, craigslist has a very large job listing. If you have a service you can provide, craigslist offers a service listing too.
The job list changes daily, so be sure to check back on a regular basis.

The best thing about Craigslist?  It's Free!

Rent Your Car

I've written about renting out your animals, and renting a spot in your driveway.
Now, how about renting out your car?
Think about it,
Your car sits parked most of the time anyway.

And unless your a traveling salesman, the statistics say that on average, most people drive their cars just 8% of the time or about 2 hours a day. The rest of the time it sit parked, completely unused.

I came across a website called RelayRides.where you can make your car available for rent.  You earn money every time it's used.

RelayRides also provide a $1,000,000 policy so you are protected against loss or damage. Furthermore, every member's driving record is reviewed to ensure they meet RelayRides insurance company's standards.

Have you ever loaned your car to a friend, or family member, and had it returned with a empty tank?  Or the next day discovered a ding or scratch?  Withe RelayRides, you're paid, and get free insurance too. And that loser nephew always looking for a handout? He'll have to look elsewhere to mooch.

Getting paid to rent your car had tax advantages too.  You could start a business with renting your car. That way, you'll be able to write off  the vehicle maintenance. Your car is the equipment of the business.  Even if you don't rent the car, you'll have the depreciation and all the business deductions to declare on your taxes.

If you live in a available metro area, check out RelayRides.  You could make a few bucks sitting home watching tv!
